Artist 丨 Lin Haizhong

On January 17, 2014, at 3:00 PM, the painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of "Quiet Lakes and Mountains -- Painting and Calligraphy exhibition of Jingchun in Linhai Bell" was opened at the art Gallery of West Lake, Landscape and Culture in Huanglong Hotel, Hangzhou, which is the thirty-second exhibition held by Hanyang Art Center in the art Gallery of Huanglong Hotel.

Professor Lin Haizhong is the earliest doctor of landscape painting in China Academy of Art, and also the youngest doctoral supervisor in The Chinese painting industry. His wonderful ink and brush skills come from his deep understanding of landscape and natural gas, and more from his infinite love for immersed landscape.

Reading the painting of Haizhong, the ink is bold and unrestrained when first entering the eye, it seems not to keep the ink line, careful examination of the spirit of vivid, endless charm. "Empty the word, the painter samadhi also." Reading Lin Haizong's painting, the reader can understand this Samadhi. His painting character is simple, the smell of cold, zen endless. As the poet sings, mystery is not in the words. Let's enjoy the poetic scenery of the sea bell and landscape together quietly as the New Year bell rings.

A total of 30 new paintings and calligraphic works by Lin Haizhong will be exhibited in this exhibition, which will last until February 28, 2014.

Foreword

I worked with Hai Zhong in school for many years, but we never met. I officially met Hai Zhong at Huanglong Hotel. Recommended by Professor Lin Chao, an expert from the Art Committee, I invited him to hold his first exhibition on August 20, 2010 at the newly built art gallery of Huanglong Hotel. The exhibition was a great success, and he and the other three ceramic artists in the exhibition laid the foundation for the academic height of The Gallery. From then on, I was able to walk into the art world of Linhai Zhong and become more and more familiar with his people and his paintings. We became friends.

In the eyes of many people, Hai Zhong is a man full of spiritual achievements. At the age of 42, he became a doctoral supervisor of China Academy of Art. His career was smooth and his dedication to landscape painting made him wander among famous mountains, great rivers, temples and pavilions all day long. Wearing a wide robe of cloth, laughing, unfettered, xiao Scattered thin. But in my opinion, Hai Zhong looks like a child who is not old enough to grow up. He is playful but filial. He is naive but cunning. Occasionally meet strangers will be shy, but also with friends romping games. He has a childlike heart.

The famous "24 Pillar Hall" by the West Lake is the studio of sea bell. Here he devoted himself to writing, reading classics and studying scholarship. In recent years, his footprints are all over the art galleries, museums and galleries of many countries. His natural endowments and rich accumulation make his landscape paintings full of cultural atmosphere, beautiful, elegant and everything. In his spare time, he often drinks tea here and talks about the past and the present, and I am also a regular visitor there. At dusk, a little sunlight comes in through the window rims, making the ground slightly yellow and the old well mottled, thus adding to the old mood. In fact, the lakes and mountains in his paintings have long been in his heart. Years of infiltration and fuming have helped him to write, and he intends to keep the free and easy and elegant outside the pen, forgetting both the mind and the object.
