The exhibition of the works of Zhao Yue-peng and Li Tong in the past will be opened at 3:00 PM on February 06, 2018 (Tuesday) at the "West Lake, Landscape, Culture -- Art Gallery" in Huanglong Hotel, Hangzhou. This is the 56th exhibition held by Hanyang Art Center in the Art Gallery of Huanglong Restaurant.

Zhao Yue-peng and Li Tong are among the few artists who are based on tradition but not confined by tradition. Their works have their own distinct personal characteristics and concepts, and they have enriched the appearance of their works through continuous thinking and exploration of "change" and "invariability". Zhao Yue-peng finds a balance between rationality and rebellion. His works avoid the traditional creation state of flowers and birds familiar to artists. Between flowers and birds and mountains and rivers, his works are clear and thick, creating an atmosphere, conveying a kind of breath and compelling qing qi. Behind the thick brushwork of Li Tong is the artist's constant deliberation and pondering over "beauty". He painted pictures of people he knew, and of the scenery on the lake. In his paintings, there is a childlike innocence as well as a subtle sense and passion.
