On May 11, 2014, at 3:00 PM, "Lotus in water -- Chen LAN's Oil Painting Exhibition" opened on the art gallery of West Lake, Landscape and Culture in Huanglong Hotel, Hangzhou. This is the 34th exhibition held by Hanyang Art Center on the art gallery.

On Chen LAN's canvas, the subject of "Lotus" seems to be the eternal protagonist, passionate, aloof, shy, mysterious and noble, profound and introverted... All in her pen to show the moving posture. Each of her works, the color is gorgeous dazzling, skilled techniques, more make the picture appears unreal but true. With each of her pen, one by one the lotus blossoming on the paper, as the spirit of the general emitting vigorous vitality. Accompanied by each expression of emotion, the paintings of Lotus are finally full of varied charms.

The exhibition, which will run until June 21, features 25 of Chen LAN's best oil paintings.
